Privacy Policy

This policy describes what data the MAKA service (the MAKA Telegram bot and this website) collects, why it is needed, how we store it and with whom we share it. By using the bot you agree to this policy.

1. Data we receive

From Telegram

• your user and chat IDs, name, username and interface language;
• your phone number — only if you choose to share your contact during registration;
• the messages and button taps you send to the bot.

Data you enter yourself

• your answers to the business questionnaire: city, line of business, unique features, website, Instagram, keywords, content preferences, etc.

From Google — after you grant consent on the Google sign-in screen

• your Google Account email address and identifier;
• the list of Google Business Profile locations your account can access: name, address, location identifiers and links to them on Google Maps;
• reviews of the profiles you select: reviewer name, rating, text, date and whether a reply exists;
• the access token Google issues to the service after you grant consent.

For business profiles that were connected by a Google Maps link before sign-in with Google was introduced, the bot reads reviews from the profile's public page.

Technical data

• server logs: request times, technical identifiers and errors.

2. How we use data

• To show the business profiles of your Google Account and connect the one you choose.
• To check for new reviews and notify you in Telegram.
• To draft texts: suggested review replies, posts, a profile description, a name, categories and a list of services.
• To manage your subscription, contact you about the service and keep the service secure.

Currently the service only reads Google Business Profile data and does not publish or change anything in your business profiles.

3. Google user data

MAKA's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular:

• we use Google data only to provide the bot features you see and use;
• we do not sell Google data or use it for advertising;
• we do not use Google data to train artificial intelligence models and do not transfer it for that purpose;
• our staff do not read this data unless you ask us to, it is necessary for security or to fix a problem, or the law requires it.

4. Who we share data with

• Generative AI providers (such as DeepSeek and Anthropic). To draft a review reply we send the review text, rating, reviewer name and your business questionnaire. For posts and profile texts we send only the business questionnaire. The data is sent only to draft text at your request.
• Telegram, which delivers the bot's messages to you.
• Our hosting provider, whose servers run the service.
• Public authorities, only where the law requires it.

We do not sell your data or share it with any other third parties.

5. How we protect data

• Data is exchanged with the service over a secure connection (HTTPS).
• Google access tokens are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM).
• Access to the database and the admin panel is limited to a small number of people.

6. How long we keep data

• We keep data while you use the service.
• When you disconnect the last business profile of a Google Account in the bot, we delete the stored access to that account and revoke it with Google.
• If you revoke access in your Google Account settings, the token stops working and the bot no longer accesses your account.
• If you ask us at goodrankad@gmail.com, we will delete your data within 30 days.

7. Your choices

• Disconnect a business profile in the bot (the "Отключить карточку" menu item).
• Revoke the service's access to your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
• Request a copy, correction or deletion of your data at goodrankad@gmail.com.

8. Children

The service is intended for business owners and staff and is not directed at anyone under 16.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The new version is published on this page with its effective date. We will announce significant changes in the bot.
